All in all, waste of time and lack of respect. I requested to be told what was the deciding factor that made them choose someone else and they said that apparently the JD changed during the process (or rather their expectation from someone who'll fill the role) but of course that was too insignificant of a change to let me know about it. My feedback was stellar after each step which deservedly awarded me with a "We decided to proceed with another candidate" type of email. The interview was held by a C-level executive. When it comes to pricing, Mixmax is more affordable than Salesforce Inbox. The key advantage of Salesforce Inbox over Mixmax is that Salesforce Inbox is available for Outlook and Gmail where Mixmax is only available for Gmail. 4th Interview: Interview that was mostly around cultural fit as well as some long-term vision. Mixmax also has further reporting capabilities around email engagement. The interview was held by two people from the engineering team. In my case the 3rd interview was a breeze. 3rd interview: Interview around the assignment, basically you presenting the assignment to them and they ask questions around your answers. Trying to get to know more about you, your motivation, your expectations, salary etc - Interlude: I had to do an assignment centered on "Your task is to give us a 90-day roadmap on how you would set up the QA function at Mixmax from scratch." Basically giving them a 3 months plan (without being paid to do so, of course) - 2nd interview: An interview focused on both technical and soft skills, the interviewer was easy going and pleasant with someone from the engineering team. Interview - Applied via company website, got contacted by the their recruiter in about 30 mins since I applied and we set up a first meeting - 1st meeting: Your usual HR-talk, nothing too fancy.
